Synopsis: The North Pool by Rajiv Joseph, directed by Alexandru Mâzgăreanu, brings together Șerban Pavlu and Vlad Lință on stage in a contemporary story about morality, power, and forgiveness. The play captures the essence of high school life and sheds light on adaptation challenges typical of adolescence, and beyond.

The text addresses political correctness, generational differences, and guilt. It weaves themes of race, religion, and wealth into an unpredictable fabric. In this psychological drama, the characters engage in a tense cat-and-mouse game.

“The North Pool is a show exploring human nature, delving into the imperfections of our personalities to ultimately understand that we are meant to continually refine what we commonly call human nature. A performance that deserves to be seen by young people, many young people, confused or searching for answers to existential dilemmas. A show for parents discouraged by the walls of silence their sons and daughters have built around them. A show for art lovers, because The North Pool is a piece of theatrical art in its purest form.” – Nona Ropotan, bookhub.ro
