Synopsis: Originating from the Anglo-Saxon world, A Midsummer Night’s Dream becomes, in Alexandru Dabija’s vision, a universal mythological setting, perhaps familiar to the Romanian audience, where two distinct worlds intersect. The real world is a world of clashes between generations, power relations, and amateurs yearning for art; while the spirit world is, in any case, the preferred space where all humanity meets.

Alexandru Dabija weaves a modern and energetic show, in which humor and imagination guide us through the tangled threads of a classic story.

Everything is but a dream, Shakespeare seems to suggest. Or not?

And if it is a dream, then who dreams whom?
