Synopsis: A house full of landscapes and still lifes. A house whose huge windows offer a view of the reminders of communism: the apartment blocks. A house where melancholy and apparently real illusions coexist. A house waiting to be demolished…

The story, in which spoken texts, thoughts, the succession of events and emotions intertwine, unfolds in the Both House of a small Transylvanian town, during the period from winter 1983 to spring 1984. The Both sisters, Etelka and Ida, are amateur artists who copy paintings from postcards dating from the beginning of the century. Before us comes to life a fragment of the existence of the two sisters and their mother, through the voice of Misi, a child from the orphanage.
