 ]Synopsis:\n\nThe Forest of the Assumed is a comedy firmly rooted in the v
 ery contemporary. It is a show about people who think they are gods\, and 
 also about others who need idols ready to offer easy solutions to the comp
 licated problems of life. False “safety nets\,” with countless masculi
 nization/ feminization camps where toxic leaders suspiciously seem to have
  the answer to every question\, become dangerous when they assume the role
  of saviors. Throughout history\, there have been figures who played the r
 ole of shamans\, holders of “miraculous cures” against all life’s tr
 oubles. The fascination they created around themselves was always built on
  the insecurities\, vulnerabilities\, and fears of others. Nowadays\, howe
 ver\, this type of imposture has massively increased due to social network
 s that promote fake sciences and conspiracies immune to any logical argume
 nts. The Forest of the Assumed offers diverse perspectives on those who at
 tend these retreats and attempts to answer questions such as: What draws u
 s to these kinds of experiences? What do we want to gain\, and what do we 
 actually gain? Who are the organizers? The production from Suceava offers 
 an ironic reading of the anxieties of our days\, turbulent times of the po
 st-truth era. The Forest of the Assumed opens a dialogue with the audience
  about what the near future might be\, if only we remain attentive. - Alex
