Synopsis: A visit into the universe of the eccentric Addams family from a surprising perspective, confronting Gomez and Morticia with what could be called the “nightmare” of any parents: children grow up (too fast). Having reached adolescence, Wednesday, their only daughter, falls in love with Lucas Beineke, a nice boy from a respectably “normal” family. Everything will take an unexpected turn on the night when the “too normal” Beinekes come to dine at the house of the “weird” Addams – a nocturnal feast that will confront the two families with the limits of (ab)normality and resistance to change.

The eccentric family, which at the beginning of the ’90s won over the wide public through the eponymous film version, inspired Marshall Brickman, Rick Elice, and Andrew Lippa in creating an original musical adaptation that revisits the Addams universe from a surprising perspective, confronting Gomez and Morticia with what could be called the “nightmare” of any parents: children grow up (too fast).

Having reached adolescence, Wednesday, their only daughter, falls in love with Lucas Beineke, a nice boy from a respectably “normal” family, and decides to entrust her secret to her father, who is not only forced to accept the harsh reality but also to do something he has never done before: hide the truth from his beloved wife. Everything will take an unexpected turn on the night when the “too normal” Beinekes come to dine at the house of the “weird” Addams – a nocturnal feast that will confront the two families with the limits of (ab)normality and resistance to change.
