What happens when the sounds of the ancient world travel across seas, mountains, and deserts and reach you?

After enchanting Central Asia, the concert-performance “Madrigal: The Silk Road” arrives for its national premiere on the shore of the Black Sea. The Madrigal Choir invites you to experience a unique musical journey, between the Renaissance and the harmonies of the Silk Road, between the light of sunset and the echoes of merchants from long ago.

Each note is a story. Each harmony is a bridge between worlds. The Madrigal performance brings the vibration of an ancient civilization, musically reinterpreted under the summer sky, on the warm sands of Constanța.

The show combines Romanian and universal repertoire with a unique set design created especially for this program, and original visual direction designed to reflect the idea of travel, change, and cultural connections. The scenography and light design, created by the Madrigal Choir team, complete the musical emotion of the event.

The event is organized by the National Chamber Choir “Madrigal – Marin Constantin” and takes place within SEAS – the Summer Season of Performing Arts, 4th edition, July-September 2025, Constanța.
