Synopsis: In the hope of reconciling with his past, a nameless young man returns to the heart of the Catholic community in which he was raised. This return stirs up deep turmoil, plunging him into a whirlwind of memories from the most intense episodes of his adolescence. He reconnects with his friends, Bobby, Luca, and the Saint, but above all with Andre, the girl who shakes the very foundations of all the beliefs instilled in them by family and religion, forcing them to see life beyond good and evil. Sometimes brutal, sometimes melancholic, and at times even outright comic, Emaus offers a nuanced perspective on adolescence as a crucial stage of self-discovery.
